What is Teeth Whitening?
A professional whitening gel containing Hydrogen Peroxide is carefully applied to the front surface of the teeth.
The active ingredients penetrate the enamel to break down deep stains, making the teeth look significantly brighter (results vary by individual). Mild sensitivity may occur during treatment.
At our clinic, an advanced LED (Cool Light) technology is used to accelerate and enhance the whitening process.
Types of Teeth Whitening & Differences
We offer two effective methods to achieve a radiant, bright smile:
While both methods effectively brighten your teeth, they differ in terms of procedure, time, and advantages. Let’s explore the details below.
▶ In-Office Teeth Whitening

Performed entirely by a professional dentist. The dentist will first evaluate your initial tooth shade, then apply a protective barrier over your gums before coating the teeth with a high-concentration whitening gel. A specialized LED Cool Light is applied to activate the gel. The overall chair time varies by individual and is discussed at your consultation. Afterward, the dentist removes the gel, compares the before-and-after shades, and provides personalized aftercare instructions.
Pros
Visible results after the session (results vary by individual).
Efficient treatment; overall time varies by individual.
Generally comfortable under direct dental supervision.
Cons
Temporary tooth sensitivity may occur due to the higher gel concentration.
Results and duration vary by individual and are assessed at your consultation. Combining it with Home Whitening is recommended for longer-lasting effects.
▶ Home Teeth Whitening

This option allows you to whiten your teeth at home using a custom-made whitening tray fabricated by our clinic, along with a professional-grade whitening gel that contains a lower peroxide concentration.
Pros
Lower risk of irritation or sensitivity due to the milder gel formula.
More budget-friendly and economical.
Longer-lasting shade retention as the treatment can be gradually continued.
Cons
Takes longer to see full results, usually requiring 2–4 weeks of consistent use.
Over-the-counter kits used without a prior dental check-up can cause gum burns or infections if misused.
Aftercare Tips for Teeth Whitening
Temporary sensitivity is normal and will gradually subside within 2–3 days. You may take over-the-counter pain relievers if needed.
Avoid dark-colored foods and beverages (e.g., tea, coffee, red wine, colored sauces) and smoking for the first 2 weeks, as teeth are highly susceptible to restaining during this period.
